About Us


The Schilling School for Gifted Children is an independent coeducational institution founded in 1997, chartered by the Ohio Department of Education, and maintaining membership in the Ohio Association of Independent Schools. Nationally, it is one of only two schools serving gifted students from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Percentage of students with IQs 130-144: 45%
Percentage of students with IQs 145-200: 55%

100% of Schilling graduates go on to college with 31% of Schilling alumni selected as National Merit Finalists and Commended Students.

Our faculty is comprised of gifted adults who are experienced teachers, subject specialists, and practitioners in their fields of expertise, many of whom are currently teaching at local universities.
